Everyone arrived at my summer cottage at 10:00, some by car and some by train. It was a nice day so we started with a cup of coffee until everyone had arrived.

The day was intended for basic training in all parts of Yoshinken with Sensei Marshall's book "Yoshinken My Way in Taikiken" as a basis.

Sensei Monika, Esko and Andreas had each been tasked with taking training for Yuri, Hai and Neri.

After a soup lunch in the sun we practiced Dakken and Hakke followed by a short session of weapons handling and Kihon.

Since the water heater in the shower contains only 15L, everyone took a bath in the lake after the session, which had become September cold.

But a training in spirit is always good ?? After a barbecue dinner and coffee, everyone went home as darkness began to fall and the mosquitoes became troublesome.
