On October 25, Yoshinken was invited by Shihan Lasse Sjöberg to an information/training with OKK where we briefly showed and told about 3 other martial arts within Budo/Wushu.

In Yoshinken we have a lot of knowledge and many highly ranked from other martial arts. I wanted to show Oyama Karate Kai's students this as OKK through Hanshi Marshall McDonagh historically had a broad knowledge of Budo and not just Kyokushinkai.

Sensei Esko showed some techniques that show that Taijiquan is a martial art from China and not just a morning exercise for elderly people.

Sensei Monika showed techniques from Okinawa Goju ryu, among other things, the Sandan Gi where all techniques are found in Kyokushinkai, which is not surprising since Sosai Oyama's trainer Goegen Yamaguchi are from Goju ryu (Kenji Kurosaki also trained here).

Sensei Lennart showed some basics from Wado ryu where there are clear differences in technique from Kyokushinkai.

We were met by a positive atmosphere and enthusiastic students in OKK, this makes Budo fun and we would love to come back and show more.
