Marshall McDonagh (President Taikiken European Federation, Kyoshi 7th Dan Japan by Soke Yoshimichi Sato, Former 4th Dan Branch Chief Kyokushinkai Karatedo by Sosai Masutatsu Oyama ) has been awarded the degree of Hanshi by Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura, the founder of World Seido karate.

In the mid-1960s, Marshall McDonagh trained Kyokushinkai karate in Honbu dojo Tokyo where one of the main instructors was Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura.

I have trained with Sensei Marshall for over 50 years and I know that he values Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura as one of the best in budo.

They have kept the contact for almost 60 years where Kaicho Tadashi Nakamura has followed Sensei Marshall's Budo/Wushu.

Therefore it feels extra good that it's Kaicho Nakamura who now give him the Budo grade of Hanshi.
